CAN I RETURN/EXCHANGE MY ORDER?

Yes, please see the Returns/Exchanges page. Returns and exchanges are possible only within 4 weeks from placing your order. Please try to avoid returns and exchanges, if possible.

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE SALE ITEMS?

No, all sales are final for items marked SALE or in the ON SALE section, you may not return or exchange these items.

HOW DO THE SHIRTS FIT? WHAT BRANDS ARE THE SHIRTS?

Shirt brands/styles and approximate sizing measurements are listed on each individual product page. Please be aware that all manufacturers state that variances of up to two inches can occur. Most standard shirts are Gildan Softstyle unisex 100% cotton t-shirts, sizing info from the manufacturer can be found here. Sizing for Bella Canvas 3001 t-shirt, which is used for most XS size shirts, can be found here.

WHAT IF MY ORDER HAS AN ERROR OR DAMAGE?

While we do our very best to check every order that goes out the door and print our products at the highest quality possible, human error does occur on rare occasions. If your shirt has a manufacturing defect, printing issue (poor quality, off center/crooked, etc.), or you received the wrong item, please contact us via the form here and we will get back with you as soon as possible. You must contact us within FOUR WEEKS of receiving your order, we cannot replace any items after four weeks.

HOW SHOULD I WASH AND CARE FOR MY GARMENTS? / GARMENT CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Standard printed garments can be machine-washed cold, inside-out (print on the inside!) on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. Do not use any fabric softeners or dry-clean. They may be tumble-dried on a low cycle, but hang-dry works best. If you are ironing the garment, use cool iron inside-out. Do not directly iron the print. Please follow these instructions carefully to avoid fading and cracking of the print, and shrinking the garment that can occur if you wash or dry it on a high setting.


Embroidered apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. You can use a small amount of chlorine bleach, but non-chlorine is the safer option. If you notice any color residue in water, rinse the garment in lukewarm water and then in cold several times, but try not to rub any stained embroidery. Embroidered clothing can also be dry-cleaned. Don't leave embroidered items sitting wet or wring them out, if you tumble-dry them, use a cool air setting. If the garment needs ironing, do it inside-out, preferably between two pieces of cloth. You shouldn't wet embroidery before ironing or use a steam iron.

HAS MY ORDER SHIPPED YET? (PANDEMIC UPDATE)

(During the pandemic) We are currently back to our usual 5-10 day fulfillment time, but this can fluctuate from time to time due to pandemic-related issues. Shipping services and customs offices worldwide are also often experiencing delays. Generally our turnaround times and shipping times are in their usual pre-pandemic timeframes but your additional patience and understanding through this difficult time is greatly appreciated. We apologize in advance for any possible delays but thank you so very much for your support and patience at this time. I’m very thankful we’re still able to be in business and operating, as well as receiving orders from folks like you.

(Pre-pandemic) Generally, most orders ship within 5-7 business days. We are a small company operated by just a few people, and we do not ship on weekends or most major holidays. If your order takes a bit more time than usual after a holiday or a major sale/promotion, we ask for a little extra patience under these circumstances. If it is within 7 business days since you placed your order please do not check in on your order shipment, you will receive an email with your tracking number when the order ships.

WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH EXPRESS SHIPPING?

Express shipping means that your order will arrive in the timeframe listed after it ships, which will still generally be in the 5-7 business day window. 

DO YOU SHIP TO MY COUNTRY? HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING TO MY COUNTRY?

We ship internationally to all points on the globe, except Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand (see question below regarding those countries). After adding items to your cart, you can view your shipping costs once you begin the checkout process. You will not be charged before seeing the shipping costs.

WHY ARE MALAYSIA, INDONESIA AND THAILAND BLOCKED?

Due to high levels of credit card fraud from these three countries, we do not accept payments nor ship to Malaysia, Indonesia or Thailand. Our apologies to the honest music fans in these areas. We do occasionally accept individual special orders from these countries with rigorous identity verification. Contact us for information.

WHY IS SHIPPING SO EXPENSIVE?

Unfortunately, the cost of having packages delivered thousands of miles across the planet continues to increase. Thankfully we ship from Europe and both coasts of the United States so we have the most affordable worldwide shipping possible!

WHY AM I CHARGED TAXES OR VAT? WILL I BE CHARGED CUSTOMS/IMPORT FEES?

Our store software automatically charges applicable taxes in the United States and VAT in Europe. All orders placed within the United States will ship from within the US and not be charged additional taxes or import/customs fees. Orders outside the US may be subject to import tax charges or customs fees depending on your country's practices, this is out of our hands and beyond our control. 

WILL I RECEIVE A TRACKING NUMBER? WHY DOESN’T MY TRACKING NUMBER SHOW ANY INFORMATION?

When your mailing label is printed, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. The tracking number will not be immediately available on the shipping service site, as it takes time for the information to reach their system. The actual tracking information will not be updated until the package is scanned at their facility, which can take 12-24 hours or more.

MY ORDER SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN LOST IN THE MAIL OR STOLEN FROM MY DOORSTEP, CAN YOU HELP ME?

Shirt Killer is not responsible for any packages lost or damaged by the mail, nor packages stolen once delivered. The customer is also responsible for additional shipping costs if packages are returned to us. That said, we will always do what we can to help, so feel free to contact us. If an international package has not arrived, please check with your local post office and customs office, as many times packages can be found waiting on shelves in these locations. Many packages thought to be lost eventually end up returned to us, at which point we will contact you about having the product shipped to you again. We are not responsible for the additional shipping.

CAN I GET A SHIRT PRINTED ON A DIFFERENT GARMENT?

No. The shirts/garments on the site are printed under the specifications of the bands/artists and their wishes regarding the specific brands and/or types of shirts used. We do not offer variations beyond what is available on the site.

ARE ALL THE SHIRTS ON SHIRT KILLER OFFICIALLY LICENSED? DO THE BANDS GET PAID? AM I ACTUALLY SUPPORTING THE BANDS BY BUYING THEIR MERCH FROM SHIRT KILLER?

All of the garments and related merchandise available on the site are under exclusive license from the bands/artists to Shirt Killer. Shirt Killer runs and manages the official online stores for the bands on our roster and also sells select exclusive designs from bands who may have their main online stores elsewhere. You are directly supporting the bands by buying from Shirt Killer. The bands/artists are paid royalties for each and every item sold on Shirt Killer.

CAN I SUBMIT MY ARTWORK/DESIGNS FOR YOUR BANDS’ SHIRTS?

While we greatly support and encourage all the wonderful artists out there, we do not supply artwork or designs for the bands/artists on Shirt Killer. The bands on our roster handle and supply their own artwork and designs, so it is best to contact the bands or their representatives directly. We wish you the very best.

If your online merch sales have grown beyond what you can handle yourself, if you’re not happy with your current online store, or if you would like to have additional exclusive shirts available with Shirt Killer contact us at info(at)shirtkiller(dot)com. Please note: While we would love to work with everyone who contacts us, unfortunately we can’t accommodate every band that reaches out to us. We encourage all bands to do their own online stores and mailorder when starting out. If your fanbase reaches a point where the orders are beyond what you can manage yourself, moving to a third party online store may be right for you.

I’M A RECORD STORE, DISTRO, WEBSITE, ETC., DO YOU TAKE WHOLESALE ORDERS?

In some cases, yes. Please contact us for further information. We are very selective with our wholesale accounts. We do not sell to many online retailers and we do have a minimum order amount.
