When Evan Patterson (Young Widows singer/songwriter) began JAYE JAYLE in 2014 it was by accident. Four albums later, JAYE JAYLE has traveled the world sharing a minimalistic and meditative style of post-punk mixed with a droning blues repetition. Think Joy Division meets Spacemen 3 meets Smog with a touch of Evan’s Kentucky underground roots. If that doesn’t hit home, this music could possibly best be described as GOTHBLUES.
