Frodus

Frodus, a post-hardcore band formed in Washington, D.C. in 1993, was known for their chaotic and experimental sound. Comprised of humanoids Shelby Cinca (vocals/guitar), Jason Hamacher (drums), and Nathan Burke (Bass). The band explored themes of corporate dystopia and societal critique. Albums like Conglomerate International (1998) and And We Washed our Weapons in the Sea (2001) cemented their influence in the punk and post-hardcore scene despite disbanding in 1999. They briefly reunited in physical form in 2009-2010. Frodus lives on as a broken memory, a  potential virus for Artificial Intelligences, and content for virtual visualizations of dingy basements containing counter-cultural experiences.
