HAS MY ORDER SHIPPED YET?
Most orders ship within 5-7 business days. We are a small company operated by just a few people, and we do not ship on weekends or most major holidays. If your order takes a bit more time than usual after a holiday or a major sale/promotion, we ask for a little extra patience under these circumstances.
On rare occasions, certain products can take up to three to four weeks to ship depending on stock availability. Designs that aren't sale/discontinued items are restocked with our printer daily, but sometimes a backlog can occur and restocks take longer than usual. In these rare cases, an item may take a few weeks to be restocked and shipped. If it has been 10-14 business days and you have not received a shipping notification email from us, feel free to contact us about your order unless it is a NEW PREORDER item, which will have an estimated ship date noted in the description.
WILL ALL ITEMS IN MY ORDER SHIP TOGETHER?
Yes. If you place an order for a preorder product, all items in your order will be held until that preorder is ready to ship. This is also the case if one item in your order is waiting on a restock.
DO YOU SHIP TO MY COUNTRY? HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING TO MY COUNTRY?
We ship internationally to all points on the globe, except Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand (see question below regarding those countries). After adding items to your cart, you can view your shipping costs once you begin the checkout process. You will not be charged before seeing the shipping costs.
WHY ARE MALAYSIA, INDONESIA AND THAILAND BLOCKED?
Due to high levels of credit card fraud from these three countries, we do not accept payments nor ship to Malaysia, Indonesia or Thailand. Our apologies to the honest music fans in these areas. We do occasionally accept individual special orders from these countries with rigorous identity verification. Contact us for information. You can also order some of our shirts from Quickening Store in Jakarta, Indonesia.
WHY IS INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING SO EXPENSIVE?
Unfortunately, the cost of having packages delivered thousands of miles across the planet continues to increase. Surprisingly, it currently only costs about $11.00-15.00 USD to ship a shirt or two (depending on the size and weight, of course) to just about anywhere on Earth. This actually seems incredibly affordable when you think about the resources and distance involved. As package weights increase, costs rise, and every year USPS raises their prices dramatically. In 2016, USPS International rates increased from 10-24% (depending on the service and packaging). At Shirt Killer we do our very best to keep shipping prices low. We lowered many of our international shipping rates with our 2016 site redesign/relaunch, but once packages reach 4 lbs or more, the prices increase quite a bit.
WILL I RECEIVE A TRACKING NUMBER? WHY DOESN’T MY TRACKING NUMBER SHOW ANY INFORMATION?
When your mailing label is printed, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your USPS tracking number. The tracking number will not be immediately available on the USPS.com site, as it takes time for the information to reach their system. The actual tracking information will not be updated until USPS scans the package at their facility, which can take 12-24 hours or more. Once international orders leave the United States, they are no longer tracked by USPS and must by tracked by your local post.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?
Once the mail leaves Shirt Killer, USPS states that First Class Mail domestic takes 1-3 business days, Priority Mail domestic takes 1-2 business days, First Class Mail International and Priority Mail International take 7-21 days. This generally seems to be accurate for mail in North America, the United Kingdom, most of mainland Europe, Australia/New Zealand, Scandinavia, Japan, and many other commonly shipped areas. Of course, international mail can always take longer than expected. There have been rare occasions when international mail has taken 6-8 weeks to be delivered, especially in South America.
MY ORDER SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN LOST IN THE MAIL OR STOLEN FROM MY DOORSTEP, CAN YOU HELP ME?
Shirt Killer is not responsible for any packages lost or damaged by the mail, nor packages stolen once delivered. The customer is also responsible for additional shipping costs if packages are returned to us. That said, we will always do what we can to help, so feel free to contact us. If an international package has not arrived, please check with your local post office and customs office, as many times packages can be found waiting on shelves in these locations. Many packages thought to be lost eventually end up returned to us, at which point we will contact you about having the product shipped to you again. We are not responsible for the additional shipping.
CAN I SUBMIT MY ARTWORK/DESIGNS FOR YOUR BANDS’ SHIRTS?
While we greatly support and encourage all the wonderful artists out there, we do not supply artwork or designs for the bands/artists on Shirt Killer. The bands on our roster handle and supply their own artwork and designs, so it is best to contact the bands or their representatives directly. We wish you the very best.
BANDS/ARTISTS WISHING TO JOIN THE SHIRT KILLER ROSTER:
If your online merch sales have grown beyond what you can handle yourself, if you’re not happy with your current online store, or if you would like to have additional exclusive shirts available with Shirt Killer, get in touch. Please note: While we would love to work with everyone who contacts us, unfortunately we can’t accommodate every band that reaches out to us. We encourage all bands to do their own online stores and mailorder when starting out. If your fanbase reaches a point where the orders are beyond what you can manage yourself, moving to a third party online store may be right for you.
CAN I GET A SHIRT IN A LARGER OR SMALLER SIZE THAN IS OFFERED ON THE SITE?
Yes… maybe. We can take special orders for different sizes, but some designs may not be available. Sale and discontinued designed will not be printed again and thus can't be special ordered in size other than what is still in stock. For any regularly stocked garment, please contact us and we will try to accommodate you.
CAN I GET A SHIRT PRINTED ON A DIFFERENT GARMENT?
No. The shirts/garments on the site are printed under the specifications of the bands/artists and their wishes regarding the specific brands and/or types of shirts used. We do not offer variations beyond what is available on the site.
I’M A RECORD STORE, DISTRO, WEBSITE, ETC., DO YOU TAKE WHOLESALE ORDERS?
In some cases, yes. Please contact us for further information. We are very selective with our wholesale accounts. We do not sell to many online retailers and we do have a minimum order amount.
WHY CAN’T I LOGIN WITH MY ACCOUNT INFO FROM PRIOR TO JANUARY 2016?
We launched a new site/store on January 1st, 2016. The new site is an entirely new and different system, software, and platform. All previous customers will need to register again. We greatly appreciate our long-term customers and we are sorry for this slight inconvenience.
ARE ALL THE SHIRTS ON SHIRT KILLER OFFICIALLY LICENSED? DO THE BANDS GET PAID? AM I ACTUALLY SUPPORTING THE BANDS BY BUYING THEIR MERCH FROM SHIRT KILLER?
All of the garments and related merchandise available on the site are under exclusive license from the bands/artists to Shirt Killer. Shirt Killer runs and manages the official online stores for the bands on our roster and also sells select exclusive designs from bands who may have their main online stores elsewhere. You are directly supporting the bands by buying from Shirt Killer. The bands/artists are paid royalties for each and every item sold on Shirt Killer.
